Safety & privacy
The call is still yours.
What Holdbird does on a call, and what it never does.
Short answers, and no secrets.
Until a person picks up, Holdbird only gives short answers to automated prompts, such as saying why you’re calling or asking for a representative. It never keys in passwords, PINs or card numbers, so leave them out of what you tell your assistant.
If a phone menu asks for one, Holdbird presses nothing and listens for what comes next. In Claude, the call card shows every key it presses and every word it says.
Only your number.
It rings only the mobile number on your account. Your account also shows how many calls you have left.
If the company’s phone menu asks for your number, Holdbird gives it during that call. It’s on by default; turn off “Give my number to the company I’m calling” in your account.

Then you do the talking.
When a real person picks up, Holdbird rings your phone. Answer, and the conversation is yours.
